Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht and Individual Rights

According to Jeff Deist, “The central issue in the Ulbricht case, as always, is an evil and unbridled federal government. No human being should be locked away for engaging in (or facilitating) peaceful, voluntary commerce among willing participants. Dark sites like Silk Road, and the cyber payment systems they employ, exist because of state prohibitions on voluntary human conduct. They are natural market reactions to government interference. This cannot be overstated.”

We wholeheartedly endorse his conclusion. The Federal Government has run amok, stomping on individual rights without hesitation. Do you remember the 1958 movie “The Blob” starring the legendary actor Steve McQueen. Here’s a plot description. “An alien life form consumes everything in its path as it grows and grows.” That sounds like a perfect description of our Federal Government and its malevolent master—the Elite.

Maybe you believe the unexpected victory of Donald Trump sent the Elite packing. Yeah, its members and their soldiers feel somewhat battered and bruised. However, they will do everything in their power to remain on top…even if it means creating wars and economic collapse. Can you really expect psychopaths and sociopaths to act any differently? In fact…it’s easy to believe these liberty violators got rid of Ross Ulbricht and Silk Road so they could take over operations.

Silk Road and Voluntary Exchanges

By the time you finish reading this page, you will know…Ross Ulbricht is not a ruthless, sinister criminal, although diseased government organs like the DEA would like to portray him as so.

Ross Ulbricht - Entrepreneur and Businessman
Ross Ulbricht – Entrepreneur and Businessman

Silk Road existed as a free enterprise business. It had every right to satisfy consumer desires without government interference. Prohibition always causes a business to resort to tactics a legal establishment prefers to avoid.

Do you understand…governments screw up everything.

Let’s get into the core of the matter.

First you have to distinguish the difference between voluntary and involuntary exchange. You must realize that only life and blood people are involved in exchanges. In any two-person exchange, one sells (gives) and the other buys (receives). “Society” cannot take part in an exchange; only individuals can.

A voluntary exchange takes place when two or more individuals agree to deal with one another. Each participates of his own free will. The exchange could involve anything from giving and receiving love to buying and selling Real Estate. All involved believe they will benefit from the exchange.

As you can see…the above describes Silk Road. That made it a legitimate business. Despite government tyranny in the form of laws stomping on individual rights…Ross Ulbricht did what every successful entrepreneur does.

Here’s the criminal side of an exchange.

An involuntary exchange occurs when at least one party to the transaction is in it against his will. Examples of this type of exchange are robbery, rape, assault and murder. Only this type of exchange can we define as criminal.

Any use of goods coming from an involuntary exchange is a crime, provided the consumer knows they were acquired in this way.

It appears governments exist as criminal organizations…because most of the people in prison landed there because of victimless crime laws…vicious interference with voluntary exchanges.

Are you ready for our verdict? Silk Road and Ross Ulbricht—innocent of all charges because he and his enterprise indulged in voluntary exchanges.

The Criminal Injustice System

Here’s some concrete proof that demonstrates our criminal injustice system is completely out of control. Tragically, the following reads like something out of a totalitarian horror story.

There are 2.3 million Americans in prison or jail. The U.S. has 5 percent of the world’s population but 25 percent of its prisoners. One in three black men can expect to spend time in prison. There are 2.7 million minors with an incarcerated parent. The imprisonment rate has grown by more than 400 percent since 1970.

Step aside Stephen King. Move over Dean Koontz. The Elite and its Soldiers have taken over the Macabre Genre.

You do know that the disastrous drug war caused the explosion in the prison population.

Now let’s demolish the “Good of Society BS.”

Do you ever feel like you are a victim of society? Let’s explode the society illusion with some hard-hitting insights.

Liberty violating politicians and other Soldiers of the Elite hope you fall for the Good of Society BS. Are you beginning to see how these creatures from hell rely on you acting like good little boys and girls in the Hive Mind Mentality.

Have you ever asked yourself who this society character is? We hear about him, but we’ve never met him. Could society possibly be a woman? It sounds like a woman’s name. All kidding aside, I’m sure you get the point. There is no such thing as “society”. The term is a concept describing the combination of all individuals.

What do do-gooders, world-improvers, social altruists and charlatans mean by “the good of society”? Obviously, these liberty-violators can’t be referring to all individuals. They advocate measures that keep some from enjoying freedom of choice. What these purveyors of human misery really crusade against is some of their fellow citizen’s choices. The totalitarian mentality gets his kicks by smacking down your personal choices—and he makes sure that he has the government’s apparatus of violent compulsion and coercion standing behind him.

Government Tyranny
                                                                        Government Tyranny

Are you beginning to see how the government painted Ross Ulbricht as a vicious drug dealer, a money launderer…and Silk Road as criminal organization. Yeah sure. In reality, he’s a victim of a horrible injustice. Remember; a crime involves an involuntary exchange. No one forces individuals to take drugs. The drug users voluntarily buy drugs from the dealers. Ambiguous terms such as “the good of society” result in the violation of individual rights.

Here’s the way it is.

  1. You own your life.
  2. Therefore you own your body.
  3. That means you can consume anything you want.
  4. Nobody has the right to tell you what you can and cannot consume.
  5. You are responsible for your actions…and consuming something that ends up contributing to you involving or forcing someone into an involuntary exchange is no excuse.
  6. All voluntary exchanges should be legal.

I’m sure you see the point. The only solution is complete decriminalization and legalization of all drugs.

Obviously, members of the Elite and their Soldiers have mutated into parasites, slowly but surely killing the host—our personal liberty and economic freedom. Certainly it would be comforting to be able to trust our institutions. Tragically, that’s long gone.

The final verdict is in. The actual criminal is the government. Once again it has stomped on individual rights. It’s time to free Ross Ulbricht and liberate Silk Road.
