The Altruist Demands Your Sacrifice

The Altruist Demands Your Sacrifice is dedicated to the memory of Ayn Rand…February 2, 1905 to March 6, 1982…who courageously fought the anti-life philosophy of altruism.

When the economy unravels, the altruist will put out the call for sacrifice…your sacrifice. He will claim “those that have…must help those who need.” You know the old Karl Marx belief promoting communism…which never considers that needs are unlimited and resources are scarce.

An altruist believes in collectivism…which means the almighty state owns your life. Who cares if you prefer to live for your own sake.

Capitalism – Social System of Rational Selfishness

Do you realize two conditions must exist in order for the majority of people embrace the sanctity of individual rights? Men and women have to adopt the virtue of rational selfishness and support the social system of laissez faire capitalism. Unfortunately, we’re saddled with the anti-life philosophy of social altruism layered with politically correct BS. What do we end up with? A mixed economy spiraling towards fascism.

Rational Selfishness and the Sanctity of the Individual’s Life, Liberty and Property

Consider this. If people no longer respect the sanctity of the individual’s life, liberty and property…how is it possible the positive emotions of love, happiness and joy can thrive? Tragically, there are too many shortsighted individuals seeking benefits without giving much in return. Our current social and economic situation confirms this fact.

Fortunately, there are rationally selfish individuals who believe in trading value for value…possessing the integrity to practice this in their everyday activities. That’s the way of the Integrated Individual. He consistently displays rational selfishness in his thoughts, feelings and actions.

Here’s what Ayn Rand says about rational selfishness.

Objectivism A to Z and Beyond

My name is RA Meyer. For years I have devoted my life to studying and attempting to practice the principles of Objectivism. I could tell you about my sacrifices during this period…how I selflessly gave and gave. Hopefully you know this isn’t true. I would never purposely sacrifice a higher value for a lower value. All of my efforts corresponded to my value system. I always live what I believe to be my highest values. And living the life of an Objectivist Warrior is my highest value.

What really fired me up and caused me to change the format of this blog was the marvelous discovery of three works of Ayn Rand at a local Half Price bookstore.

Capitalism, Objectivism and Your Teenager

In the last article “Should Teenagers Be Exposed to Objectivism, I pointed out that Timothy Sexton’s article “Warning: Your Teenager May Be Reading Ayn Rand” completely misrepresents Ayn Rand and Objectivism. Let’s see if he does better with his analysis of capitalism.

You may be wondering how he could possibly have a decent grasp of the marvelous social system of capitalism…since he doesn’t seem to recognize the benefits of Objectivism. Well, as we will soon see…like most social altruists and progressives he just doesn’t get it.

Should Teenagers Be Exposed to Objectivism?

Originally, I created Master the Social Maze blog for the Everyday Warrior. After posting 47 articles, I noticed the ones on Objectivism were the most popular. So, I took 7 week vacation. My conclusion: Write the blog for individuals interested in Objectivism and its applications. I will supply more information on the development in a future article. I’ve already changed the name of the blog to The Objectivist Warrior Masters the Social Maze.

Now…on to the latest article.

I came across an article by Timothy Sexton titled “Warning: Your Teenager May Be Reading Ayn Rand.” Reading his analysis might make someone believe she represents the evil mechanisms of the devil. Let’s find out if he’s on to something quite sinister….or if he completely misrepresents Ayn Rand and Objectivism.

Objectivism – Formula for Success?

As you probably know…Ayn Rand’s Objectivism has its ardent supporters and critics who hate her philosophical system. These two groups will never see eye to eye. Let’s get beyond the conflict and ask an important question. Is it possible Objectivism soars as a formula for success? Let’s find out.

Rational Selfishness

Here’s a definition of selfishness critics attach to Objectivism.

Take Heart in the New Day

For me there is only the traveling on paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart, and the only worthwhile challenge is to traverse its full length–and there I travel looking, looking breathlessly.”
Carlos Castaneda, The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge

Does your path have heart? Are you able to take heart in the new day. If you can’t…your path is void of heart.

Have you thought about those unfortunate people who awaken in the morning…desperately hoping dreams of joy and happiness somehow renewed them. Much to their dismay, they unhappily discover their slumbers reinforced their misery?

Self-Actualization – Conquering the Illusions of Progressives

Men and women pay lip service to personal liberty and economic freedom. How many actually capture them…reaching a state of self-actualization? The many illusions that permeate the Hive Mind Mentality guarantee enlightened self-interest remains a distant dream. In fact, it’s possible…most people remain unaware an accelerated state of awareness exists. The Integrated Individual lives it most of his life.

My main purpose in unleashing Master the Social Maze is to demonstrate self-actualization isn’t just a state…advanced masters reach in their deepest meditations. It manifests as a way of life you can practice on a daily basis. The pleasures of the body, mind and spirit are yours for the taking.

Speak Your Mind – Even if Nobody Likes It

Are you afraid you will offend people if you speak your mind? Does that cause you to keep your opinions to yourself?

Of course, there are times when it’s best to remain silent. An intelligent person recognizes the power of silence. You don’t want to spout off opinions that have no substance. You want your words to resonate with power and authority. A Master Sales Pro knows listening gets more results than talking.

President-Elect Donald Trump speaks his mind…whether anyone likes it or not. And people criticize him for it. Regardless, he won the election over that “outstanding” candidate Hillary Clinton. Makes you wonder why Hillary didn’t receive more flak. She’s always willing to speak her mind…even when she’s telling an obvious lie.

Money Tree, Gold and One World Money

Do you ever dream about coming across a money tree? Well, I’m going to have to bust your bubble. Damn…I can’t do that either. The Fed owns the only money tree and the largest monetary bubble. Unfortunately, for many people…one day the Fed’s tree will go bare and the bubble will burst. When, where and how…nobody knows.

Easy Money Addicts, the Money Tree and the Mogambo Guru

I was feeling particularly low, having sunk into a sloppy, self-pitying, tequila-fueled, drunken introspection after (again) failing to achieve blissful Nirvana, this time per my wonderful new (“Why didn’t I think of it before?”) theory, which is to finally attain true transcendence through sheer, strict gluttony.
