I will state that we are neither pro-drug or anti-drug. Because we exist as Objectivists …we remain neutral on whether you should or should not use drugs. That’s your choice…although we don’t recommend using them. Still, we will leave it up to you. However, we are 100% against the Drug War.
The Objectivist could partake in certain drugs…in order to reach accelerated states of awareness. However, he (she) takes charge of his thoughts, feelings and actions. He understands the supremacy of reason…and would never do anything to sabotage it. Drug addiction is completely out of the question.
Since conquering illusions and understanding reality is a daily quest…he makes his decisions based on cause and effect relationships. For that reason, he completely supports the legalization/decriminalization of all drugs.

Gold and silver stumbles. Jim Rickard’s reporting from the Daily Reckoning.
“Gold had its biggest one-day loss in almost three years…Tuesday 10/4/16. The question is why.
There was no shortage of explanations (as usual). The main theme was that the dollar is getting stronger partly due to sterling weakness on new Brexit fears. The market also took the view that a December rate hike is likely (we agree) and higher rates also add to dollar strength.”

Once you become attached to your desires…you ride an endless cycle of alternating pleasure and pain…especially if you’re stuck in the Hive Mind Mentality. The IMF acts like the “central bank of the world.” It will have to issue massive amounts of SDRs to hold the international monetary system together. The result will be the end of the dollar as the leading global reserve currency. That’s why today’s developments represents such a dramatic change from the past.
SDRs are inflationary. If you flood the market in dollars of SDRs, gold will spike dramatically, probably taking it to $10,000. Will that happen tomorrow? Again, probably not. But the trend is in place. What are you waiting for? You can expect that the dollar will be devalued by 50–80% in the coming years.
